Essential Responsibilities: The Position:



In your role as a Collections Specialist for GE Working Capital Solutions, you will be responsible for the Collections activities related to a specific GE business’ portfolio. You will own the collection and account resolution with customers of delinquent accounts, and provide customer service, develop payment arrangements, and assist in resolving customer complaints and problem accounts by using your fantastic communication and influencing skills.


Nature of work:



In this role, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);



Day-to-day responsibilities of the role include:



- Initiate collection calls to account customers, research and resolve past due/billing issues on complex accounts that have resulted in delinquent payment.



- Review aging reports and initiate calls to customers with past-due balances to arrange for payment.



- Resolve customer complaints and research account discrepancies; analyze receivables data for customers.



- Forecast cash collections, evaluating and escalating issues to appropriate internal and external contacts.



- Perform routine accounting reconciliations, reduce account aging, and establish clear and concise communications; participate in presentations of account receivables information.



- Maintain call logs and expected payment dates.



- Evaluate if credit or debits need to be issued and rationalize payment plans with customers.



- Daily interaction with outside customers, including follow-up with customers when expected payment has not been received.

The Position:

Nature of work:

The student’s development will occur through project-based assignments. Under the supervision and mentoring of a senior technical team member, her/his key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Conceptualizing, designing, preparing appropriate 3D models, 2D detail drawings for LED lighting systems
  • Performing testing, characterization & metrology of mechanical & optical components and assemblies
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of mechanical & optical test systems;
  • Creating and building design prototypes;
  • Making sound engineering decisions considering project goals and constraints (products, costs, suppliers, assembly workers, etc.)

We are searching for a candidate to take accountability for the process to obtain site access and/or remote access to Local Area Networks (LAN) and document management systems for GEH-C employees based at or visiting customer sites.

Essential Responsibilities: The incumbent will manage the security access process for GEH-C employees who work at Customer sites. This includes interacting with key contacts at the Utilities (Bruce Power and OPG) and GEH-C Managers and employees.

Some of the key responsibilities include:
Facilitate the site access process for employees (ensure completion & submission of security clearance forms)

On-Board employees

Administer remote access to the utility domain

Manage utility training requirements including computer-based training and site access training.

Proactively manage utility access maintenance requirements
Off-Boarding employees

Manage master Clearance and Access Training spreadsheet
Qualifications/Requirements: High school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Administration and Support
Experience dealing with sensitive data
